Transforming Lives

  Feed To Empower was founded in 2016 to address the basic material needs of people experiencing homelessness in Atlanta, GA. Since then, we have broadened the geographic scope to include Nashville,TN.  In Nashville, the mission has expanded to address affordable housing needs.   We work with individuals returning to their communities from incarceration, any person dealing with mental health stability or has a history of substance abuse. Individuals receive whole-person care and case management with tailored interventions, services and support needed for stability, self-sufficiency, and long-term success. 

Case Management

Housing is available for $160/week. Our housing facility is located in Madsion, TN. We help residents prepare resumes and offer job interview training. We also assist our residents in receiving medical/dental care. We encourage residents to attend weekly AA/NA meeting and or counseling. 

If community service hours are required, they are available for completion.

We partner with a network of licensed therapists, social workers, and other mental health professionals who are passionate about supporting mental health and wellness in our community.

We serve formerly incarcerated individuals, including veterans, who:

• Are 18 years or older
• Live in Nashville and surrounding counties
• Either were released from prison, or served time in prison, and or have a history of substance abuse or mental illness.
• Are committed to fulfilling follow-up requirements for their case
